Baby It’s Cold Outside

Cold weather finally arrived! Brrrrr…I’m a baby when it gets cold, I guess living in the south where it is warm most of the year has spoiled me. It’s supposed to get into the low 30’s so I decided to cover everything. Last year I used a white plant cloth that was great but I cut it to fit each bed. With the trellis this year, I wanted something bigger so I bought a planket (it’s 10 x 20) and fits the length of my rows. It works great because it traps the heat from the plants, lets them breathe and repels water. I bought 3 at Home Depot for $19.98 each. I found the same thing online in Amazon for $49 so shop around and try to get a deal! Maybe your local store is cheaper than online. I’m hoping a warm front comes in fast cause I like it hot rather than cold…. yeah even if it is Christmas time.
