Winter tomatoes – a nice surprise!

  • About two months ago I planted my winter garden and all kinds of strange plants came up that I didn’t plant! I had no idea what they were but time would tell and I realized I had about 20 tomato plants that germinated from my compost. I remembered I had emptied out my composter into all my tubs and turned over the soil. The seeds somehow were in the compost! I replanted them to one tub and I have tomato plants!! I am really new to this gardening stuff and am always learning something new. Gardening is so fun to me – I know I say that all the time. My garden so freely gives and I really appreciate the beauty of plants that God has put on the earth and allowed us to experience. We will see how my free tomato plants turn out.
It looks like I have more than one variety too!
