Pink tomatoes on the vine

  • I picked tomatoes and a tiny bell pepper that finally turned green but only got as big as a golf ball. I am not sure why I planted it off season, but I think I bought it and thought why not try it. My tomatoes are still growing despite the cold weather. I covered them two nights ago from the frost and I picked a few red ones and a lot of pink ones. They turn a bright red in my window sill and are delicious. A lot of the leaves are turning brown but the plants are hanging in there! I think we are supposed to get about 5 days of sunshine! Here are some pink tomatoes on the vine. You can tell the tips of the leaves are black I think because of the cold. I never thought I would be growing tomatoes in the winter time!
