  • I love decorating for the holidays!! Starts with Halloween until the new year!! January makes me sad!

  • I love being with my grandchildren and watching them open their gifts, their eyes wide with amazement. Family and giving are the best way to celebrate Christmas.
Merry Christmas to you Melanie and thank you for all you have done.

  • The special feeling of Christmas.

  • Love being with family. Merry Christmas, Melanie.

  • Christmas has always been a magical time for me…when I was very young we had a fireplace that Daddy hung socks on Christmas Eve and on Christmas morning Santa’s boot prints were in the ashes. He continued that tradition until the grandchildren came and enjoyed the tradition. Sadly, Daddy died without all the grandchildren having that magic moment but his sons and son-in-law continued it. Family and tradition….trees cut from our own property and decorated with popcorn and cranberries and paper… cookies and milk for Santa and nuts and leaves for the reindeer. Sweet memories!

  • P.S. clicked before I was done… on Christmas Eve, after baths and with pjs on, Mama would read about the birth of Jesus from the Bible and then Daddy would read Twas the Night Before Christmas. By that time we were sleepy and ready for bed!
