Anaheim peppers blooming

  • I bought an Anaheim pepper plant from Donna Faye at Sweet Organic Solutions in Pearland, TX on HWY 35 about 2 months ago.  I planted it with the broccoli and it has been hidden by the massive broccoli leaves for weeks.  I kind of had forgotten about it but I noticed the blooms came poking up through and they are beautiful!  We are having a really mild fall season, but I’m not complaining – I love being outside.  I have never grown peppers before, so I am not sure how many I will get.  I have heard that the cross-pollination can cause other things in your garden to be hotter.  If you know anything about this or have grown them let me know.  The blooms are sure pretty!
