Sugar snap peas still blooming

  • I planted sugar snap peas about October first. A lot of the vines have turned brown, but they continue to bloom and flower. I was in my garden last Saturday and took these pictures of the blooms and peas. They have a white flower blossom and the pea pod grows from inside the flower. I use sugar snap peas for snacking or I cook them in stir fry dishes.

I planted a new round of seeds on December 14th and I am waiting patiently for them to bloom. Luckily in the meantime, I still harvest from my earlier batch and am grateful for the white pretty blossoms in my garden.
